The Eastern Cyber Resilience Centre (ECRC) supports and helps protect SMEs, supply chain businesses and third sector organisations in the East of England, against cyber crime.
They began their journey in November 2020. Led by Policing, and facilitated by Business Resilience International Management (BRIM).
The ECRC is modelled on a successful structured collaboration acclaimed by the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC). It is part of a developing network of not-for-profit Resilience Centres across the UK with BRIM.
Community Ambassadors are local companies to the region who understand the importance of cyber resilience and want to spread the knowledge, both within their own customers base and supply chains, and wherever relevant.
Cybersecurity and cyber resilience are now critical to modern companies of all sizes and sectors.
Unlike IT support, which has an established history and typically evolves at the pace of hardware and software refresh cycles, cybersecurity is a much newer concern. It evolves at a much faster pace and therefore requires a new mindset and dedicated attention from the business sector.
Bad actors are actively working to overcome the defences you have in place. They are looking for weaknesses all the time. As new weaknesses are discovered and disclosed, new attack vectors open up. This happens daily.
So we're delighted to be part of this community and spread the word and raise awareness of cyber matter to all that'll listen.
This will specifically benefit our cybersecurity customers.
They'll be able to tap into this community via us, via our workshops, via our policy review sessions, via our incident response and incident recovery planning sessions and by having us as their trusted cybersecurity partner.
If cybersecurity is on your list, if you're worried about your security stance you can read more here about how we could help:
